Liberty's full-size gun safes are among the most popular American-made safes on the market, and we're now adding them to our catalog. Seven new models are live in our catalog this month, covering the Revere, We The People, and 1776 series, and we wanted to walk you through what each one is, who it's for, and how to choose between them.

Why we're expanding the Liberty lineup now
Liberty Safe is the largest gun safe manufacturer in the United States. Every full-size gun safe they make is built in Payson, Utah, using American steel, and every one is backed by a lifetime transferable warranty that travels with the safe if you ever sell it or pass it down to family. That combination of US-based manufacturing, lifetime coverage, and broad model selection is why Liberty consistently ranks as the most recognized name in residential gun safes. We've had hundreds of customers over the years ask whether we carry Liberty's gun safes, and the answer was always "we can help you cross-shop, but we don't carry the gun safes directly." That's changed.
The seven new Liberty gun safes
The seven new models cover three product lines, each at a different price and feature tier. Here's how the lineup breaks down.
Liberty Revere 30 (entry-level, 40-minute fire rating)
The Liberty Revere 30 is the starting point for buyers who want the Liberty brand at a starter price. Fourteen-gauge steel body, 40-minute fire rating at 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit, seven 4-inch Solid State® locking bars, and a choice of EMP-resistant electronic lock or mechanical combination dial at no extra cost. It holds up to 30 long guns and clears a standard residential doorway. Best for first-time gun safe buyers who want a USA-made name without commercial-grade pricing.
Liberty We The People series (mid-range, 60-minute fire rating)
The We The People series is Liberty's most distinctive lineup, finished with a patriotic distressed American flag graphic and the words "We the People" in script across the front. Three capacities are available: We The People 30, We The People 44, andWe The People 60. All three share the same construction: a 12-gauge steel body (a meaningful upgrade from the Revere's 14-gauge), a 60-minute fire rating at 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit, six 4-inch Solid State® locking bars, three hardened, drill-resistant plates, a UL-listed safe body, and a choice of electronic or mechanical lock standard. The We The People line is also offered in both Gray Gloss and White Gloss finishes, so you can match the safe to a gun room, basement, or office without it standing out as a "safe."
Liberty 1776 series (premium fire-rated, 75-minute fire rating)
The 1776 series is Liberty's step-up safe with the best fire protection in the lineup we're now carrying. Three capacities available: the 1776 36-Gun, the 1776 50-Gun, and the 1776 64-Gun. The 1776 takes the We The People's construction and adds 15 more minutes of fire protection (75 minutes versus 60), adds a seventh Solid State® locking bar, and finishes the cabinet in Liberty's distinctive Gray Marble textured powder coat. The right pick for serious collectors who prioritize document protection alongside firearm storage.
How to choose between them
If you're new to gun safes and trying to figure out where to start, here's the way we usually walk customers through the decision.
Start with your gun count, today and five years out. The Revere 30 and We The People 30 hold up to 30 long guns. The We The People 44 and 1776 36 cover the mid-range. The We The People 60, 1776 50, and 1776 64 are for serious collections. If your collection is growing, buy one size up from where you are today.
Match fire rating to your home's risk. A 40-minute Revere is sufficient for most suburban homes with a fast fire department response. A 60-minute We The People makes more sense for rural addresses or for protecting irreplaceable documents alongside firearms. The 75-minute 1776 series is the right call if fire protection is your primary concern.
Lock type changes the day-to-day experience. The EMP-resistant electronic lock opens faster and lets you change the combination yourself. The mechanical combination dial doesn't rely on batteries and has the familiar feel that many long-time gun owners grew up with. Both are standard at no extra cost on the Revere, We The People, and 1776 lines, so this is a personal preference rather than a price decision.
Plan the delivery path. The 30-gun safes fit through a standard 32-inch interior doorway when turned. The 44-, 50-, 60-, and 64-gun safes are wider, but a professional safe mover can turn them so the narrower depth (typically 22 inches) passes through the opening.
