AMSEC NF Series Gun Safes with Verified Fire and Burglary Protection
AMSEC NF Series gun safes offer a practical balance of price, steel construction, and independently tested protection. With a UL Residential Security Container Level I burglary rating and an ETL-verified 90-minute fire rating at 1,200°F, the NF lineup suits gun owners who want stronger protection than an entry-level safe without moving into premium pricing.
A ¼-inch solid steel plate door and an 11-gauge steel body provide the foundation. Four-way boltwork secures all four sides of the door, while the UL-listed AMSEC ESL10 electronic lock provides convenient access through a backlit keypad. Multiple layers of fire-resistant panels and dual door seals help limit heat and smoke entering the safe during a fire.
Choosing the Right NF Series Safe
The NF5924 is the compact option for smaller collections and tighter spaces. The NF6030, NF6032, and NF6036 provide additional storage, with wider interiors that give you more room for long guns, shelving, and accessories. Adjustable interior layouts let you divide the space between firearms and valuables, while a premium door organizer keeps smaller items within reach. Interior LED lighting and a built-in AC outlet add everyday convenience.
When comparing sizes, look beyond the advertised gun count. Scoped rifles, pistol grips, and wide stocks take up more space than the slim firearms used to calculate maximum capacity. Check the interior width and depth, and allow room for future additions so your collection remains easy to access.
Anchor your NF safe to the floor using the provided mounting points and the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Anchoring helps prevent removal and makes it harder to tip the safe for leverage during a pry attack. AMSEC also backs the NF Series with a special lifetime warranty covering damage from burglary attempts and fire.
