The Protex WSS-159E II Drop Box is designed to be mounted on a door from the inside with the drop door showing from the outside. This safe is the perfect safe for those that need to secure cash, keys, mail, car remotes, small envelopes and more. You can even use it as a mail collection box for all out-going office mail. The drop door opening is thick enough to drop keys.
We recommend the door thickness be 2" or less. It will come with removable and adjustable metal frames to hide the rough cuts, inside and out. It does require that you cut a rectangular cutout in the door.
There are many security features on the WSS-159E II. Some of these include a battery-operated electronic lock, piano-style hinge, pre-drilled mounting holes in the back to mount to a door and a reinforced double steel door to protect against pry attacks.
The electronic lock on the WSS-159E II is battery operated and uses 3 AA batteries. It is very easy to program. Just choose a 1-8 digit security code. If the batteries die, there is an external battery override contacts that let you power the lock from the outside. Never forget to lock your safe again.

Types of Delivery Services (click the links below to skip to each section):
Small Package Delivery (150 lbs. and Under)
Small package delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. All packages under 150 pounds are delivered to your home or business front door via UPS or FedEx during normal business hours. There is no advance appointment call made. No signature is required.
Changing Your Address
Additional fees may apply if you need to change your address after your order has shipped. Please note that changing the address with FedEx is not guaranteed. You can create a FedEx Delivery Manager account, which allows you to change the shipping method to a FedEx Hold Location (ex: local Walgreens).
Curbside Delivery (Over 150 lbs.)
Curbside delivery is a free service offered by Safe & Vault Store. Any shipments 151 pounds or larger shipments are delivered curbside via freight companies such as YRC, XPO, USF Reddaway, or other common freight carriers. The safes and vault doors are delivered on a wood pallet, curbside, where your driveway meets the street. The freight company will call to schedule an appointment within an 8-hour window. IMPORTANT NOTE: The delivery staff will not take your safe or vault door any further than curbside if this is the service you order. Freight companies will not deliver to your driveway on a dead-end road or Cul de Sac. They will only deliver to County, City, or State roads. They will not deliver to a congested downtown area without parking or a Doorman Condo or Apartment. Garage/Threshold Delivery or White Glove Inside Delivery are available for an extra charge if you need special delivery services. Garage delivery is not guaranteed. It is not always available in all areas and is ultimately at the driver's discretion to complete. If the driver feels unsafe, the freight company will not be able to complete the garage delivery and will leave the safe at your curbside. We will refund you in full for the garage delivery if it cannot be completed. Safes Over 2000 lbs.
Our trucks with liftgates can only handle safes up to 2000 pounds. Safes over 2000 pounds require a forklift or loading dock on site to receive them. If you do not have either of these items, we can recommend a company in your local area that can deliver your safe inside.
